DETAILED NOTIFICATION FOR CONTRACT FACULTY POSITIONS
The Government of Andhra Pradesh has established Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT) in 2008 to cater to the educational needs of the meritorious rural youth of Andhra Pradesh. Every year 1100 students per campus are admitted into 2 year Pre University Course (PUC) leading to 4 year B.Tech program.
RGUKT has its constituent campuses in the following locations:
1. Nuzvid, Krishna District
2. RK Valley, Kadapa District
3. Etcherla, Srikakulam District
4. Ongole, Prakasam District
RGUKT invites applications from eligible candidates in the following cadres of teaching positions on purely temporary contract basis in the below mentioned disciplines for only the Academic Year 2021-22. The contract period is not extendable. Guest Faculty who worked previously with RGUKT may also apply, if interested.
I. Lecturer (Contract) – for two year PUC program
II. Assistant Professor (Contract) – for four year B.Tech program
III. Instructor for Physical Education, Yoga, Music, Fine Arts
PUC Program:
Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English, Biology.
B.Tech Program:
Engineering:
Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Electrical Engineering (EEE), Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.
Sciences and Humanities:
Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, Management, Humanities, Economics and Sociology/Social Work, psychology
Period of Contract:
The Faculty positions are purely temporary and carry consolidated salary without any allowances. The term of appointment will be only for the academic year 2021-22 and not extendable. Their appointment also will be subject to the filling of the regular positions.
Minimum Qualifications and Consolidated Salary:
Lecturer (Contract):
Qualifications:
Applicants must have passed P.G. Degree (M.A. or M.Sc., or M.Com.) in the relevant subject/language with a minimum of 50% aggregate of marks in P.G. Degree Examination from any recognized University.
Assistant Professor (Contract):
Qualifications:
M. Tech, M.Sc., / M.B.A. /M.A. with NET / SLET / SET/ Ph.D.
Instructor for Yoga/Music/Fine Arts (Contract):
Applicants must have passed with a minimum of 50% aggregate of marks/M.A or Diploma in Yoga/Music/Finer Arts from any recognized University.
Instructor for Physical Education (Contract):
Applicants must have passed B.P.Ed with a minimum of 50% aggregate of marks from any recognized University.
Consolidated Salary:
Selected candidates will be paid a consolidated monthly pay as per RGUKT norms.

iv) The number of vacancies in each department is subject to the actual requirement.
v) Selected candidates should be ready to work in any of the RGUKT campuses as per the requirement.
