Kind attention to all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and all

the District Educational Ofcer in the state, as per the reference cited, timings

and time table for High School are from 9.00 a.m. to 04.00 p.m. for the academic

calendar 2021-22.

Further it is submitted that, it was suggested from 8.00 a.m. to 8.45 a.m.

(optional) for self – learning, supervisory study and preparation for competitive

examinations, from 4.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m.(mandate) it was suggest for games,

and from 5.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. (optional) it was suggest for remedial teaching.

Further it is submitted that, the optional hours from 8.00 a.m. to 8.45 a.m.

and the mandate hours from 4.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. hours shall be handled by the

Physical Education Teachers / School Assistant (Phy.Edn.) and they may be

exempted from 9.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. for attending to school.

Further it is submitted that, the Physical Education Teacher works in

schools from morning 8.00 a.m. 9.30 a.m. and evening 2.30 p.m. to 5.00 p.m.

total 4 hours, but it is compulsory to work not less than 6 hours a teacher to draw

their salaries.

Further it is submitted that, Physical Education Teachers / School Assistant

(Phy.Edn.) it is mandatory/compulsory to attend the schools from morning 8.00

a.m. to 11.00 a.m. And 2.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. and they may be exempted from

11.00 a.m. to 2.30 p.m.

In view of the above explained, all Regional Joint Directors of School

Education and all the District Educational Ofcer in the state are here by

instructed to all the Government Head Master and Principals to allot a

Physical Education period (compulsory) in morning session i.e. 8.00 a.m to 8.45 am
