The lockdown is currently in phase 3.  The lockdown ends with May 17th.  There are reports that RTC will operate buses in the AP with the orders of the Center.  At the same time, there is a campaign to increase the fare on RTC buses after the lockdown.  There are reports that the government is ready to hit the commuters and the pockets will be shuffled.  Travelers are worried about this.  Nani clarified the name of AP Transport Minister on this news.
 The fare hike news is not true:
 Nani said that it is unrealistic to increase the fare on APSRTC buses after the lockdown.
 The minister has made it clear that the APSRTC is not raising charges.  There is no truth in the news on social media that the government is increasing the RTC charges.  He urged people not to believe this campaign.  The minister has warned that legal action will be taken against those who misbehave on the issue.  With the minister's comments, PTC has been the subject of an ongoing campaign to raise the RTC charges.  However, Nani said that RTC buses would be operated in the AP only if the central government permits.
 RTC services from May 18:
 The public transport system across the country has been halted for the past 50 days with the Corona lockdown.  There is not a single bus in the state.  Governments have also discontinued RTC buses in Telugu states.  Recently the center has started giving some relaxation and concessions in case of lockdown.  RTC buses are preparing to hit the road in AP after May 17.  RTC officials are preparing to operate buses in the Green and Orange Zones.
