Corona Lockdown |  Corona Update: The Railways Department's decision to not passenger trains until May 17 has been reversed.  It has announced that it will run passenger trains from 12th of this month.  The trains (total of 30 services) will run from New Delhi to 15 destinations in the country.  These are called special trains.  New Delhi to Secunderabad, Dibrugarh, Agartala, Howrah, Patna, Bilaspur, Ranchi, Bhubaneswar, Bengaluru, Chennai, Thiruvananthapuram, Madgaon, Mumbai Central, Ahmedabad and JammuTavi railway stations.  Tickets can be booked on IRCTC from 11am today.
 Buttercups and train bogies are available, but the ...  Currently, over 20,000 train bogies in the country ... have been converted into isolation centers for coronavirus victims.  There are 300 labor trains running for migrant workers on a regular basis.

 - Ticket booking for special trains is only through IRCTC.- Tickets can be booked from 4pm on May 11
 - Ticket booking centers do not sell tickets at railway stations.  Platform tickets are also not sold.

 - Passengers who are ticketed ... must arrive at the station in an hour.
 - Passengers have to write on what to do and what not to.  Must follow.
 - Travelers must download the Arogya Setu App on their mobile phones.
 - After downloading the Health Setup App, the location, Blue Tooth Option must be kept on.
 - Passengers must wear masks.

 - Only those who have a conform ticket will be allowed into the railway station.
 - Only those who do not have coronavirus symptoms are allowed.
 - Train only for those who do not have coronavirus symptoms.
