The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has taken another key step in Corona's remedial measures. The RBI has directed payment network companies Visa, MasterCard and NPCI to take action to ensure that all payments made by credit or debit cards are contact free.  PIN is mandatory for transactions with debit and credit cards that are not normally chip.  However, the RBI has ordered the payment network companies to take steps to ensure that all payments are contact free as part of the corona virus program.
 That means .. you have to swipe the card all the time .. No need to enter the PIN. If your card is shown to Point of Sale, you will not have to enter the PIN. But there are new problems.  Experts advise to be careful with card transactions.  Immediately .. it is advisable to check how much minus is from your card .. otherwise .. you are warned that there is a chance of pressing the amount of the card limit.  NPCI advises customers to make contactless payments. For the MasterCard, executives say such transactions increased 40 percent in the first quarter of this year.
