High Court quashing orders on English medium
Amravati: The AP government is facing a backlash in the High Court. The state high court has canceled orders issued by the state government mandating English media. The court ruled that the state government has issued a revocation of Zero No. 81,85.
BJP leader Sudheesh Rambotla and Guntupalli Srinivas have filed petitions in the High Court challenging the government-sponsored Jeevas by mandating the English medium. Petitioner's lawyer argued in court that the issue of what medium to read should be left to the students. It is not right to make the English media mandatory. On the other hand, the advocate on behalf of the government argued that the English medium is very beneficial for the future of the students. The court heard the arguments of the two parties and issued the verdict today. The verdict was revoked.
