AP Cabinet clears posting for DSC 1998 qualified candidates

Amaravati: Its a good news for all the 36 qualified candidates of DSC 1998 that AP Cabinet has decided to give them the appointments as SGTs (secondary grade teachers) on contract bases on Wednesday.

The Cabinet has also announced to give the notional increments for all Special teachers, Physical Education teachers, Language pundits, who were appointed in between 1983 - 1996

The cabinet is looking into the possibilities of taking the 2008 DEd, BEd disqualified candidates as the SGTs.

గతంలో నిర్వహించిన డీఎస్సీ-1998, డీఎస్సీ- 2008, డీఎస్సీ-2012 పోస్టుల సమస్యలపై దృష్టి పెట్టామని విద్యాశాఖా మంత్రి ఆదిమూలపు సురేష్‌ చెప్పారు. బీజేపీ సభ్యుడు పీవీఎన్‌ మాధవ్‌ అడిగిన ప్రశ్నకు ఆయన సమాధానమిచ్చారు. 1998 డీఎస్సీలో అర్హత పొందిన 36 మంది అభ్యర్థుల్ని కనీస మూల వేతన చెల్లిం పుతో కాంట్రాక్టు పద్దతిలో సెకండరీ గ్రేడ్‌ టీచర్ల(ఎస్జీటీ)ను నియమించడానికి ఫిబ్రవరి13, 2019న కేబినెట్‌లో మంత్రి మండలి అంగీకరించిందన్నారు. దీనికి మొత్తం 36మంది అభ్యర్థులకుగాను ఆరుగురు అభ్యర్థులే ధ్రువీ కరణ పత్రాల పరిశీలనకు హాజరయ్యారని చెప్పారు. ఆరు గురు అభ్యర్థుల నియామకానికి చెందిన ఫైల్‌ను అనుమతి కోసం ఆర్థికశాఖకు పంపామన్నారు. డీఎస్సీ-2008లో 4,657 మంది అభ్యర్థుల్ని కాంట్రాక్టు పద్దతిలో ఎస్జీటీలుగా పరిగణించడానికి ప్రక్రియ ప్రారంభించామని, రిమార్కుల కోసం ఆర్థికశాఖకు పంపామని తెలిపారు.
