Guidelines For Organisation Of State Level Exhibition And Project Competitions
One District Level Exhibitions and Project Competition (DLEPCs) to be organised for a group of 250 to 500 awardees. In case there are more than 500 awardees in a particular district, more than one District Level Exhibitions and Project Competition (DLEPCs) can be organised.
Duration of District Level Exhibition and Project Competitions (DLEPCs) - 3 days.
The District Level Exhibition and Project Competitions (DLEPCs) should preferably organised in Public Schools/Colleges Buildings, which are having halls with ceiling to minimize the costs.
The venue should be identified with necessary facilities i.e., sufficient rooms / halls to Exhibit / display the Science Projects and Models, for suitable staying arrangements to the students and guide teachers.
Jury members should be identified from the list of Mentor and locally available Scientists, Professors or Lecturers of Degree Colleges / Universities. One panel should consist of 3 Jury Members (Preferably one from Department of Science
& Technology Mentor and two from out State i.e., Universities / Degree
Colleges).
10% students have to be selected for District Level Exhibitions and Project Competition (DLEPCs) to participate in the State Level Exhibitions and Project Competition (SLEPCs).
Parent (one person only) in respect of Physically handicapped children are to be provide boarding and lodging facilities during conduct of District Level Exhibition and Project Competitions (DLEPCs).
Wide publicity should be given about District Level Exhibition and Project
Competitions - dates, venue etc.
District Level Exhibition and Project Competitions (DLEPCs) to be Videographed / photographed. Electronic copies of Photographs / Videographs of all District Level Exhibition and Project Competitions (DLEPCs) to be sent to State Nodal Officer.
Wide publicity to be made about the INSPIRE Award Scheme.
Utilisation Certificates requisite reports including Jury reports and detailed documentation should be submitted to Director, SCERT, with in 10 days after completion of the District Level Exhibition and Project Competitions (DLEPCs).
